The F.I.T. Program for un-fit 40+
Start with a posture and movement assessment, build a strong foundation, and get back to moving, feeling and living better.
Are You Over 40, Stuck Behind a Desk, and Tired of Feeling Stiff Every Single Day?
Let’s be honest. Our bodies weren’t built to stare at screens for 10 hours a day. If you’re a busy corporate mum or dad living or working around Wong Chuk Hang or Hong Kong Southside, you probably know exactly how this feels.
And if you’re over 40, these aches, tight muscles and movement issues can become harder to ignore. Especially if you’ve had an old injury, haven’t exercised in years, or aren’t sure where you should start.
Before pushing your body harder, it’s important to understand how it moves and what it needs.
- That constant tightness in your neck and shoulders that builds up by the end of every working day.
- A dull, nagging ache in your lower back whenever you stand up after a long meeting.
- Stiff hips and knees that make you want to constantly stretch out under the desk.
- A sharp catch in your knees when you’re simply walking downstairs or going downhill on a weekend walk.
- The short-term relief trap. You get a massage or see a physio. It feels great for a day or two, but by Monday afternoon, the exact same stiffness is back.
- And maybe you’ve tried exercise before. But did your previous program take your exercise history, old injuries or areas of pain into account? Or did it simply push you harder?
Why does this keep happening?
Think about it: sitting for hours, repeating the same movements, or spending your day with poor posture can place extra stress on your muscles and joints.
Over time, some muscles can become tight and overworked while others may not be doing their share of the work. This can affect the way you move and may contribute to stiffness, discomfort and poor movement patterns.
If you’ve had an old injury or have been dealing with pain, you may also start changing the way you move to protect yourself. This can make everyday activities feel harder and leave you worried about getting hurt again.
You don’t need to simply push harder. You need to understand how your body moves and build from the right foundation.
That’s why we start with a posture and movement assessment before deciding how you should train.

I Ruptured My L4-L5 Disc at 54. Here’s How I Got Back on My Feet – Nate Solia
I’m not just sharing this as a coach; I’ve been exactly where you are. I pushed myself too hard, made a bad call, and dived during a game of touch rugby. At 54, that decision left me with a completely ruptured L4-L5 spinal disc. The next morning, I could barely get out of bed.
It was terrifying. But instead of accepting that this was how things would stay, I worked closely with my incredible physio, Donna Sutton. We didn’t just focus on getting me moving again; we looked at how my body was moving and worked through a structured corrective exercise programme. I stayed consistent and kept progressing. In less than 12 months, I was deadlifting 85 kg from the floor.
Why did it work? Because we started with the foundations and built up gradually. The goal wasn’t to simply push harder—it was to improve how my body moved, strengthen the muscles that needed more support, and progressively add load as I became stronger.
That’s the approach we call ‘correctives’ at EPT. Start by understanding how your body moves, build a solid foundation, and then progress your strength and fitness step by step.
The 4 Pillars : How We Rebuild Your Movement
We don’t believe in guessing. If we don’t assess your body properly, we are just wasting your time and money. Our program focuses on four distinct areas to get your body working as a single, coordinated system:
- 1. Orthopedic Assessment (Posture Analysis & Movement Screen) : This is where everything starts. We find exactly which muscles are weak, which are tight, and how it’s affecting the way you move. This is how we stop injuries before they happen.
- 2. Mobilisation : Your joints need lubricant to move freely. Keeping them moving well and optimizing their natural range of motion is crucial for your long-term health, no matter what injuries you’ve had in the past.
- 3. Stretching : We target the chronically tight areas to release deep tension and aches. By rebalancing your muscles, we get your body aligned properly so there is less stress on your joints.
- 4. Core Strength : These aren’t standard gym crunches. These are specific corrective exercises designed to wake up the deep stabilizer muscles from your head to your pelvis. When these work, your neck, shoulder, and back pains start to take care of themselves.
Real People. Real Progress.
Ready to Feel Good in Your Body Again?
Everyone is different. We don’t know exactly how your body will respond in 21 days, or how long it may take to adapt. What we do know is that when you understand your body, move better, and make consistent changes to your exercise and lifestyle, you can start building a stronger foundation for the future.
Start with our 21-Day F.I.T. Program and discover what your body is capable of. Use these first 21 days to build better movement habits, improve your foundation, and begin getting stronger.
If you enjoy the results, we strongly encourage you to continue for at least 6 months. Consistency is what helps turn the changes you make into lasting habits.
